stopper troubles

June 2, 2017

Brakes had been feeling a little touchy last couple of days.

Got new pads and changed them out and found this. Upper left corner was the front left brakes. They were worn to around 10% left. Bottom left corner was the rear brakes. Worn metal to metal. Nothing left. Bottom right corner was the front right side. No wear. Looked new comparing them to the new ones. Many thanks to Brad and Les at ANDREWS RACING SYSTEMS for their help on this little problem.

Shuffling down the road

May 29, 2017

Went to put a few miles on and take a few pictures. Ended up staying over night at the Hub to meet a friend from Minnesota, Isaac Will , who rode in to ride the area roads. Was a good two days. Hit local areas and watched a large amount of serious silliness on the river.

Out on the road. One of our group had a slight misunderstanding with the local authorities. Anybody have a quick way to raise bail money?

Travel cooking

May 20, 2017

Getting ready to get back on the road for a while. Road testing some of my gear at the R&D/Proving facility here at Fort Awesome. Quart of pretty good coffee and a can of what had to have been Korean war era canned chilli in 6 to 8 minutes. Yep! Living the dream.
